Mr. Abubakar Sidiq Hamidu is a business executive with an extensive experience in microfinance. Prior to working with ID Ghana, he taught various subjects to senior secondary school students in his community as a volunteer.

Abubakar Sidiq has been with ID Ghana before it was incorporated. He was among a number of individuals who were contracted to conduct a survey prior to the establishment of ID Ghana. He was officially employed as a credit officer and he was the first credit officer. Abubakar Sidiq has risen through the ranks and he is currently the General Manager of the institution. He had worked in both the business and social department of the institution.

Mr. Abubakar Sidiq Hamidu holds an MBA in Finance from the Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree from the same University.
